Email: Lhogan (at) gmail (dot) com
A theater studies graduate of Emory University, Lora has studied at the Atlantic Acting School in New York City, as well as completed summer training in San Francisco with the American Conservatory Theater. Extremely passionate about creating new works and bringing the arts to the community, Lora looks forward to bringing this new festival to the area’s ever growing scene. She has worked extensively on BRAVE NEW WORKS with Theater Emory in all roles–ranging from actor, to house management, production assistant, as well as studying playwriting at the Emory Playwriting Center. Lora loves St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay and happily relocated here from New York City. She is an Associate Producer for Black & White Productions and directed/acted in their spring reading at Studio 620. Most recently, Lora supported new plays by participating in American Stage’s “Hot of the Press” reading of The Hurricane Brothers. She is also a certified yoga instructor, was project director of last fall’s successful community fundraiser Energize Tampa Bay (benefiting Tampa Bay Watch), and is writer and creator of the blog “Florida Frugalista.” By day, she works as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving at Eckerd College.
